For conducting telephone interviews and data entry in WorkLine Research complex CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) is used, enabling to increase effectiveness of conducting interviews to the maximum extent and provide high quality of obtained data.
The complex consists of PC terminals, linked with telephone lines and a server where the data from interviews is stored real-time. This enables quick obtaining final as well as intermediate results. Work place of CATI supervisor is equipped with special software and overhearing device which enables constant control of each operator.
Using CATI enables organizing “paperless” interview technology: texts of questions and answer variants appear automatically on operator’s display, going to different questions according to filter is also tracked by PC. Software enables forming sample of telephone numbers for each survey, set and control quotas: phone numbers are selected from data base automatically.
CATI interviewers have regular trainings; each survey is preceded by detailed briefing and pilot interviews. This enables interviewers to take a closer understanding of the survey, and their experience of communication with respondents enables to estimate extent to which questions are clear to respondents beforehand and make the necessary corrections.
The Client can be personally present at the interviews, evaluate qualification level of our interviewers and make certain of high quality of work being conducted.
